I originally wanted to get pictures taken for my husband but the pictures were more of a gift to myself! We have all heard that boudoir is empowering but it is also affirming! i have positive new thoughts about myself. I let go of the "one day I will be ____" and affirmes that I can love exactly who I am. Our bodies change over time and we have to learn to accept and love every season our bodies are in. The actual photo shoot itself was a day to take a step back and appreciate myself, be pampered and have fun! I love Meg's style and ideas so I came in with an open mind to try whatever she had in mind. Meg is a pro behind the camera and with understanding how our female insecurities can hold us back. She is great at getting you to relax and be at ease and often laugh as well. The day I had my reveal for my pictures I was surprised to be overwhelmed with emotion. I had always been comfortable with my size but never felt truly beautiful. I cried. The truth is it has definitely changed how I love myself. It is so much more than just a picture. I tell all of my friends that they HAVE to do this for themselves!

With boudoir especially, connecting and feeling comfortable with your photographer is an absolute MUST! That is why we have phone consults with each and every client. We want to make sure you're comfortable and that were the right fit for you.

Ahh! You did it! You booked the boudoir experience you've been thinking about for years!! Now the fun begins- we will begin sending over all of the things to help plan your session- wardrobe guide, do's and don'ts before your session and your special client homework!
the day of
The day of your session you will start the day in hair and makeup! Sit back, relax and enjoy it! Next you and I will finalize your wardrobe choices and just simply chat a bit. We will spend our hour having way too much fun, listening to music and capturing stunning images of you!
product delivered
After your session we will schedule your reveal session where you will choose your images to purchase! You can expect your product to be delivered right to your door 4-6 weeks following your session!

how do I book a session?
Inquire right here through the website or email us at info@onyxandopalcreativeco.com! We will set up an exploration call where you can ask all of the questions and we can get to know each other a but better!
We are typically booking 3-6 months out!
how far in advance should we book?
do you provide unedited images?
We do not. Our art is a representation of our brand and our business, so it is important that all photos we take are cohesive with the rest of our work!
We respect everyones body image journey!! We will not alter body size or smooth skin in images. Our rule of thumb is if it wouldn't go away on its own in 2 weeks, we dont change it.
